What are Google Ads?
Essentially, Google Ads comes down to two main parts – search and display.
Search advertisements are basically the internet’s version of seeing ads in a newspaper. Your business might get shown in the newspaper without paying for ads, but if you are willing to pay, then you can choose when and where you want your business to be shown.
It works much the same on Google. Search relates to those ads that you see at the top of your search results when you Google something. The importance of having your ad as the top result cannot be understated – 53% of search clicks go to the first link in any search. To get these top positions with Google Ads, you need to be bidding in Google’s system. This is where the Quality Score comes into play.
Quality score is the indicator of how relevant your landing page and ad is to the keywords you’ve chosen. It’s a score out of 10, and it helps Google choose whether for example your medical centre or your competitor gets that top spot when someone searches for ‘Medical centre New Cairo’.
The other parts that help Google decide what ad to show are the bidding amounts each advertiser is putting forward and the total ad rank of each ad.
Looking at what your competitors are doing, your bid strategy and the page you send people to help define a successful campaign.
We don’t just stop at the Google ads. If you’re paying per click, you want to make sure every visitor is tracked and follows through with a call to action.
Analysis of your website/landing pages and optimising it for conversions is super important. This is what’s called Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO).
Improving quality scores and conversions is why people choose VexoEgypt to manage their Google Ads. It’s not about just setting up a campaign and forgetting about it, we need to be looking at it daily to ensure maximum conversions possible.

What are Google Display Ads?
Google Display Network (GDN) is an online advertising platform. The GDN has two fundamental components: the Google Display Network and the DoubleClick Ad Exchange. Together, these platforms allow advertisers to create, manage, and measure campaigns on a range of Google properties such as search results pages (SERPs), YouTube videos and Google Shopping results.
Google Display Ads are ads that appear on the Google Display Network (GDN) and reach up to 90% of internet users across millions of websites as well as apps and videos. Google Display Network is a great way to reach customers, build brand awareness, target specific audiences, and optimize campaigns.
Display ads are shown on websites, apps and videos when your target audience is surfing online for things other than your brand (which is most of the time). The implications of this are massive when it comes to building brand awareness – that is, the chance that a customer thinks of you when they realise that they need products or services that you sell. It’s hugely important to be staying fresh in your customers’ minds so that they know to think of you instead of your competitors!
Google Ads/PPC or SEO? which is better?
It’s a common question. SEO and PPC are two different services that serve different purposes. Both of them can be used as part of your marketing strategy, but how do you decide which one is right for you?
If you are looking to increase your brand awareness, SEO is the way to go. However, if you need to increase sales and get more customers in a short period of time PPC is the right choice for you.
The key difference between SEO and PPC is that with SEO it’s a long-term strategy whereas with PPC it’s a short-term one.
SEO will help you rank higher in Google or any other search engine but it’s not going to provide instant results like PPC does. You can expect results from your SEO campaign after several months or even years depending on how competitive the niche is and how many backlinks you have managed to get so far.
With PPC aka Adwords, it’s a different story. You can expect to see results right away and it’s also a great way to test your product or service with real customers. If you have an idea for a new business that you want to launch, PPC is definitely the way to go as it will help you determine if people actually want what you’re selling or not.
VexoEgypt can help you decide what works best for your business. You can try them both and see which one works best for you. But if you want quick results, Google Adwords is probably a better choice than SEO.
What are Google Shopping Ads?
Google Shopping Ads are a great way to promote the products you sell. They’re easy to create and can be targeted towards users based on their location, device type and search history.
Google Shopping Ads are a great way to bring your products to the attention of potential customers. They appear on Google Search and in Google Product Search, so you can drive traffic to your website with these ads. In addition to this, they’re a great way for companies who sell physical goods (such as clothing) to promote their products at an affordable price point.
You can use Google Shopping Ads to:
-
Target customers by device, location, or language.
-
Track performance of your campaign with performance reports in Google AdWords and third-party trackiGoogle Shopping Ads are a great way for companies to promote the products they sell
-
Optimize your campaign using conversion tracking, remarketing, dynamic remarketing (formerly known as audience lists), and other tools such as custom audiences from Google Analytics or AdWords Conversion Labels.

What Reports will VexoEgypt provide?
What if my competitors click my ads?
Good question! Clicking on a competitor’s ads is known as click fraud. While Google has some clever tools to help minimise this, plus we can block the IP address of your competitors, we would also recommend a third party tool called Clickcease.
